We are proud to offer a variety of services, ranging from year round drilling, to down hole camera, to pressure fracturing, geothermal heating, environmental wells, residential wells, well rehabilitation, cathodic protection, and industrial wells. Drilling water wells can be a tricky business for some, but Buds Water Wells has been operating in the Kamloops area for over 12 years, drilling thousands of wells. We are very familiar with the variety and conditions of the terrain and can often circumvent problems just by knowing your address.
Rural residents generally have a limited choice for reliable running water: dug wells, drilled wells or sourcing. All methods have to be tested for water quality, but generally a properly drilled well is most reliable and safest.
There are different procedures for different types of ground, depending on if there is rock, clay, sand, or boulders. Bedrock is the preferred choice. Sand or clay requires the protection of continuous casing installed the depth of the hole. Once we strike water, flow is measured to ensure the sufficiency of the number of gallons per minute.

Pressure fracturing is implemented when insufficient water is obtained. Otherwise known as hydrofracing, water is pumped down the hole under extreme pressure, which in turn fractures the rock, allowing more opportunity for the water source to travel to your well, thus increasing flow.
Our down hole camera is advantageous in that it shows problems in existing wells, allowing us to troubleshoot with a greater degree of success. It also aids in the recovery of lost and stuck pumps below the surface.
We were first in the area to acquire this advantageous device, and our expertise is inevitably an invaluable resource to you, the customer.
